evo spec 4G63 into a Mirage?
will that swap work? i heard i need to ahve the tranny modded for FWD config, is that correct?
what else would i have to do to have a "fwd" evo

i did something very similar recently with a impreza rs and a wrx sti engine, so hopefully its not too much harder

use a GST eclipse tranny! (both are 4g63s)
Either modify the bell housing on the gear box, or Find a suitable FWD gearbox that will fit the evo motor. Or you can customise the entire car, and turn it into a 4WD mirage. Thats alot more time consuming, costly, harder. There is probally a website or forum, that will have heaps of details on doing this kind of an engine swap. I'd suggest googling for it man.
