How to do natural makeup?
I been use to heavy makeup, and I'm starting to think its gross and people call me cake face..and tell me I have natural beauty but am covering it up. And, I agree but I been bullied and teased over my looks so its like my shield I usually wear:
foundation
powder
blush
bronzer
white, black, brown eyeshadow
thick black eyeliner
mascara
lipstick
lipgloss
and I wanna tone it down and look naturally pretty, but I end up looking tired with little makeup, I have blonde hair, hazel eyes, and fair skin any help?

For a natural glow, go with tinted moisturizer which is available at most drug stores like CVS, Walgreens, WalMart, Target, ETC by many different brands, the one that comes to the top of my head right now is the Aveeno Tinted Moisturizer and the Neutrogena Tinted Moisturizer. It goes on very smooth and looks great in natural light and even has some SPF for sun protection. Your eyeshadow color choices sound a little too heavy, maybe go lighter by using a tan or dusty rose color. Consider buying an eyeshadow palette that offers many colors to choose from. Instead of thick black eyeliner, maybe invest in an eyeliner pen which offers a thin tip. ELF Cosmetics sells a great eyeliner pen for $1 at Target or trying using a dark brown pencil instead. Maybe switch it up with lipstick one day and lipgloss the other or try a light lipstick shade with some clear gloss? Hope I helped and best of luck!
Well you should wear a liquid blendable foundation instead of powder foundation with a built-in moisturizer and an SPF (which would definitely help to keep your face sunburn-free!) I recommend Almay Clear Complexion, but it's your choice.
You should wear a blush with a bit of yellow tones to help even out the fairness in your skin. (fair skin has pink tones) Clinique has some awesome blush if you don't mind high pricing.
Then curl your eyelashes and apply mascara, and try to avoid eyeshadow except for special occasions.
Last but not least, if you must, wear a very nude lipstick/lipgloss, but I recommend tinted lipbalm for a very natural look.
Hope this helps! By the way, I'm sure you're beautiful.
Since you are so used to seeing yourself with full makeup it might take time for you to get used to it. You may not look tired, but just different. From that list kick off blush and bronzer and lipstick. Only use an eyeshadow that is a shade above your skin tone. Foundation is ok if you on use what you NEED, and dont cake your face. You may just want to use a little concealer for blemishes, and thats it. As for eyeliner, only use a thin line on your top lash line. Remember, you want to enhance your features. Not change them or hide them/.
ok so this what i would consider a good look for really natural makeup that i thinkll will work for people with heavy makeup.
moisturizer - of course LOL!
concealer- conceal all the "imperfections" like acne spots, bags etc. BUT NOT TOO MUCH
a little bit of bronzer- for nice glow (us on n off somedays)
mascara - good mascara that make lashes pop , not clumpy more natural but nice
no eyeliner (if so dont use alot not i thick line on the top or the whole eye circled with liner)
if u use eyeliner make sure it not black, blue etc. more like a brown because brown looks ALOT more natural n just line like the bottom outer part of the eye dont go all the way close to the tearduck
TO REALLY BRIGHTEN THE EYES - put some idk wat u call but white eyeshadow should really be it, just put alittle white eyeshadow in the inner tearduck of the eye
your eyes will LOOK AMAZING
laslty of course use some clear lipgloss or just chapstick to top it off
FIRST I SUGGEST practicin at home when u have no where to go and do ur speacial tweaks to help the situtation out dont wait to u have to go out or somethin cus it might not look the way u wanted .I REALLY hope i help and i think itll turn out great bye!!!
Apply light foundation with a small makeup sponge. Follow with some concealer. Apply a light dusting of translucent powder (http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp?pid=246... Use eyeshadow colors that go well with hazel eyes (http://www.walmart.com/ip/L-oreal-Paris-Wear-Infin... and use brown mascara. If you want to use eyeliner, use brown. Put on some lipgloss. I like Maybelline's ShineSensational in Cherry Bloom. You can use blush and bronzer as well, but make sure all the colors you use are complimentary. You can also try a beige eyeliner on your lower lash line (this is bad for your eyes, so if you do put eyeliner here, sharpen the pencil after each use and regularly clean your sharpener with rubbing alcohol) and some pink highlighter cream/pencil, which you can put on your cheekbones and browbones.
Use some lightweight foundation i prefer MAC. Its very nice and only like $25. Or try a tinted moisturizer. They are very lightweight and usually look natural. Next just brush on some light powder. Then apply some blush. Apply some nude eyeshadow and add mascara. Just finish it off with light pinky/nude lipgloss. This looks nice and natural.
Hope it helps!!
try wearing a tinted moisturizer or a concealer ,then a compact powder, then wear mascara,a little bit of lipgloss, and you will look very pretty, natural as posibble
