I am visiting a 3rd grade class tomorrow, and I was just informed today that we will be talking about peer pressure. Does anyone have a good idea for an activity relating to peer pressure?
say that you'll play a game. you're going to call out a curse word, and everyone else would raise their hands and say another curse word. so after all the naughty kids and class clowns go, the more conserved kids will start thinking that it's funny and raising their hands. after a while, pick the quietest, shyest girl in the classroom. after she responds in some way, say that that was an example of peer pressure.
