How do I connect(?) my printer to my computer?

About a month ago, there was a problem with my computer and it was later fixed but all the >Update:

my printer is a HP Photosmart C6180 All-in-One

    Try to re-enstall the printer's software and check to see if your USB cables are making a connection.

    Alot of printers require drivers. Try to go on the internet and look up the type of printer it is. and see if there is a driver for it. Make sure you got it plug into the right ports on the back of the computer. and if they are, pluged in right and tight. I would start with the drivers though.

    All you gotta do is install the driver(the disk that came with your printer) or download it off the official website.
