I can't see how the education system in the US can be any better than the system in Canada.....Most of the US kids on this site can hardly speak English let alone put together a proper sentence !!!
I know nothing of the Canadian education system, but the US public education system is seriously lacking. As to whether Canada is safer? They have gun control. Where we may have 10,000 deaths attributed to gun violence, Canada typically will have 10. Yes, TEN. I'd say that's a bit safer; wouldn't you say so?

I live in the US, I've been to Canada dozens of times. I'm happy with where I live
Not to be hating or anything but statistically the schools in the U.S are worse than that of Canada.
The reason why canada's safer is because it has a lower population.
