Why do my eyes change color?

Lately, I've noticed that my eyes change color depending on the time of day. They're usually a dull blue, but from about 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. they become a bright green. I know for a fact it isn't the lighting. Even my friends have commented on it. Why do they change?

  • Well, it probably is the lighting, just not the way yout hink. 10pm to 5am is night...the light is darker, so your pupils expand. Me, I have a green rim and brown center in my eyes, so if it's dark, they expand and look more green. If it's bright, they contract and look more brown. Strange but true.

  • I'm not sure but mine do the same and it might have to do with either moods or the amount of light/sun. This isn't scientific I'm just geussing. :P
