My colonoscopy results in December showed a polyp in the caecum.
They didnt remove it because its in a really bad spot
Got to have another one in a week to remove it..
They said they might have to cut me open to remove it..
How do they do this? I'm worried!!

Worrying is a natural response for all humans when facing the unknown however the procedure your talking about is common from my understanding and is done as an outpatient keyhole procedure, meaning you will more than likely be in and out of the hospital in the same day. Complications with the procedure are to my knowledge extremely rare and your Doctor/Surgeon will be prepared for their occurrence and able to remedy those situations should they arise. As for how its done, your Doctor will add a cutting instrument to the end of the colonoscope and use that to cut it out, this may provide slight discomfort but will be otherwise painless (the discomfort will be from the colonoscopy not the cutting)
You should have nothing to worry about
