GTX 480 vs. 570 Graphics Cards?
I was going to buy the GTX 480, but through Newegg's specials emails I found the 570 on a deal at about $150 cheaper than the 480. Looking at the specs, the 570 seems a bit better. Which of the cards is actually better? I'll be using it for semi-heavy gaming in my new computer.

They appear to be very close in performance... It really depends upon the title you're playing. Looks like in easier games the 480 gets higher fps, but in tougher titles or with AA turned on, the 570 has the slight edge. Certainly the 570 is much more energy-efficient.

According to bench marks the 480 is just a tad faster the 570 but for $150 less I do go with the 570!!!
neither is extremely important, except you pick to decode a ton of HD video or render 3-D scenes. The memory on a card isn't important because of the fact the definitely clock velocity/memory velocity itself. A Geforce-8800 320MB performs extra constructive than a Geforce 9500GT 1GB. additionally, some video games do no longer make the main of SLI or Crossfire to their max, so it rather is going to be extra constructive to have a single card than twin enjoying cards. and that i might propose, looking on your set-up like a HD 5000 series, or a GTX 500 series or extra beneficial in case you have the money.
