How to do push ups properly ?

I Can Only Do 3 .... YES THREE Push Ups lol but I Can Do Up To 160 Crunchess & I'm A Basketball Player =| , lol . Am I Doing Something Wrong ?

lie on the floor
place your hands next to your chest (but a bit wider)
get your feet into position
then PUSH yourself up then go down make sure u get down low enough
Start by doing then on your knees. Then work ur way up to doing them on your feet.
Well, you get on the floor and then use your arms to go up and down. LOL
keep your arms shoulder width apart, its also easier when u spread your legs apart almost like doing middle splits
For a female it's harder lol
