"Buses" is still listed as the preferable plural form. "Busses" is the plural, of course, for "buss," a seldom used word for "kiss."

I saw a sign that said busses only. I thought when referring to more than one bus it was BUSES...
Having spent most of my working life employed by a bus company, I've been able to spell the plural for at least a quarter of a century. It's 'buses'.
