How do you convert MP4 to DVD?

I looked at Yahoo! answers and saw only questions on how to convert DVDs to MP4. My question is just the opposite.

If I have an MP4 file how can I convert it into a DVD? And by DVD I don't just mean slap a transcoded avi or MPEG file onto a DVD; I mean creating an actual real DVD that I can put into an old fashioned DVD player and watch my "movie"?

Doing some research I found references to DVDcreator from TOPVIDEOpro.com. Also found talk about Xilisoft VideoConverter. Any experiences with these? malware infected?

I'm looking for something easy and FREE. Windows platform please!

    I use DVDFlick http://www.dvdflick.net/ Open source and free. (Slow, but it works well.)
