Favorite Mardi Gras Parade? Favorite parade spot?

I'm a local(former resident of New Orleans, current in Metairie). I loved Thoth so much when I lived Uptown(the parades lined up by my old house on Tchoupitoulas(when it was down there)so we used to catch things just my sitting in our yard. I would like to go again someday. We used to go down by St. Charles & Napoleon in front of Copelands(or Shoneys I dont remember which one it was). I haven't been to a whole lot of parades since we moved to Jeff. Parish but I don't really catch anything at the night Metry parades, the truck parades on Mardi Gras day in both parishes are really fun though.

To be honest, I really can't stand Baccus or Endymion. If we win the Superbowl, Baccus is going to be madness with Drew Brees in it.

    Favorite Parade: Krewe D'etat They embody everything that is smart ***. Without being too specific, my favorite spot is on St. Charles at a shop that belongs to a family member. There is a bathroom, food and a bar next door. Life is good! : )
