NY CDL class B license (expired medical dot card)?
If my medical DOT card is 4 months expired does that make my Nys DMV invalid resulting in me having to re take the written and road test? Or is it just the medical I have to take?

If your medical card has expired that makes your CDL invalid. You can't drive commercial vehcles, but it's still good for driving a car. You MUST have a current Medical card on file with the DMV. All you have to do is take the DOT physical, and submit the "long form" copy to the DMV.
So you've asked this 6 times now. Got it this time? Just renew the medical card. That's ALL you have to do.
