For instance, when the opinion of Obama and Joe Biden was first interviewed, Joe Biden said twice that he was confused that he was chosen for VP. Then he said that McCain was a close friend of his and he said, "I say this in a complimentary way, I am not surprised about anything that McCain does." Somehow the democrats cut that out of the youtube. It didn't show Biden telling the truth about what he actually thought. Why do you think that Biden is saying that Hillary would have been a better choice? Because Hillary is a much better liar!!!

He is a socialist at best and a communist at worst. Either one would be a terrible thing to have happen to our country. The only thing that he has actually given any specifics about is his plan to increase taxes to pay for more social projects that we don't need and that won't work. Socialized medicine has been a dismal failure in every country where it has been implemented. He says that he is Only going to raise taxes on the wealthy. Come on do you actually believe that? Even if he does, who do you think will pay in the end? It will be the little guy that's who. Who do you work for? I'll bet you don't get a paycheck every week from someone that makes as much or less than you do. The rich are the ones that employ the rest of us. If you cut to deeply into their pockets they have no incentive to hire more people and build their businesses. If they don't then you may find yourself out of work. As far as taxing corporations; anyone with an ounce of sense would realize that they don't pay those taxes, we do. They just raise the price on their goods and services to compensate for it.
Two last points, one answer attacked McCain and said that he wanted to take away rights like gay marriage. News flash; there is no right to gay marriage, read the constitution. Secondly as much as I hate to say anything defending Obama, he didn't vote for NAFTA, because it was before is time. NAFTA was passed during Clintons first term.

The Republicans want to destroy America by destroying their freedom and their constituion. There are a million names on the no fly list, for example, which is simply absurd. There are sneak and peak searches, the FBI can now look at the videos you rent, the books you check out, and are collecting database of internet searches. Candidates are now protecting from protesters in 'free speech zones', and Bush thinks he has the power to indefnitely detain people without trial. GITMO was created to evade the US constitution.
In every manner and form, the Republicans have reduced are freedom.

We all agree that there is an optimal size of government. So Obama thinks it should be a bit bigger, with tax rates similar to Clinton. That will maximize freedom.
McCain has not said what plan he wants to cut. It is likely the size of government in relation to population and the economy will not change, just as it has not for all the Republicans.
When we are debating taxes, we are not debating spending cuts. To have a permanent net tax cut does not change the size of government simply changes the tax to one for current population to their children, and leaves them a huge debt. Our debt now is 10 Trillion, our deficit 500 billion, and the amount we are needlessly spending on our debt is 450 billion. To argue for a permanent tax cut in this environment is insanity by definition.
Wow did you just wake up from a coma? The economy has been in the crapper for the last several years despite Bush being warned that the US has been on the brink of bankruptcy. What exactly do you think 700 Billion bailout means?

You can add, loss of our gun rights, NO vouchers for school children and their parents to decide what school they want to attend....We won't be able to go to the doctor of our choice, but will have to wait in line like they do in Canada! Ask a Canadian why they come to America for surgery (they'll tell you their medical care sucks!) Why are so many Canadian Nursing students coming to the U.S for jobs? Poor people don't pay taxes now anyway, but with Obama they will be given money from those who do pay their taxes, and work hard to become succesful!
It wasn't Bush that ruined our economy but Clinton. When he was president, in the 90s, the banks gave loans out to people who couldn't afford to buy a house. This was Clintons plan, and today we are seeing the result of that with what happened to Fanny and Freddie May....Obama received the 2nd largest amount of money from these corporations. How can he preach about "fat-cat money makers" when he's one himself. Look at how much his wife pulls in each year.
He doesn't even tithe 10 percent to charity like the "Bible" tells Christians to do. It's 6.7 percent! Is he a Christian?
