Mathematics professor vs Business Professor?

Hello,

I am in college and I want to either become a Math or Business Professor. I love Mathematics and I have a passion for it. I am great with numbers and patterns.

I also love Business and I also have a passion for it and I know Business.

I also think analytically.

Which one?

    Major in Math/Statistics and take as many courses as you can in Finance.

    You will have to earn at least an MBA to teach at the college level. At the university level, you usually will need at doctorate.

    I think you are a bit ahead of yourself here. How many classes have you taken in each discipline? Which ones do you enjoy the most? Where are you earning the best grades? Do you prefer pure mathematics or the application of math?

    First you declare and complete your major -- you could look at doing a major and minor or double major. Then you can apply to graduate programs. getting hired to teach and then getting on a tenure track is a long way off.
