Um, colored contact lenses?
Can people with brown eyes (dark) be able to wear colored contacts? If not why? My friend & I wear glasses but her Optometrist has been having her wear contacts & she was gonna wear colored ones but her Optometrist said no because her eyes are to dark (we have the same colored eyes).
So, I have 2 questions.
1. Can we wear colored contacts ? Why not if no ? (I don't want to but I do wanna know why)
2. My friend said during class my eyes turned green. Is that possible?

You guys can wear colored contacts, as long as they're opaque. I dunno why her Optometrist said that cuz its possible. And eyes turning green....I guess its possible cuz I have dark brown eyes and sometimes they're dark green
1. I've seen plenty of dark-eyed people wear lighter circle/coloured lenses and have it show up just fine. The problem with those, like with any lenses, is that wear 'em too long, and they'll dry your eyes out. This is especially true of coloured lenses!
