Am I paranoid? Please answer!?
I think I might suffer from paranoia.
I am always paranoid that people talk about me behind my back, and that they're all in on something about me at school. I sometimes doubt that my parents are my real parents. And that they lie to me... today they said that I agreed to something which I don't even remember saying they could do (sell my pet).
I always think that there is a camera placed in my room.
I'm paranoid about things people say and the meaning of what they say.
I think people are trying to harm me.
So am I paranoid..?
Update:Edit: I'm a teenager so I can't go to a therapist cuz I dont have any money. And i can;t ask my parents.

I think we've all done this to a certain degree, but if it's affecting the way you think and how you live life, it's important to talk to a counselor about it. There's no shame in seeing someone--I'm planning on doing it myself. In fact, we could all use a psychologist. Haha.
well there is anxiety and paranoia. im pretty anxious but i wudnt consider myself fully paranoid. but, i do have similar thoughts as you (like having a hidden camera in my room, i always think there is a hidden camera anywhere i go like even hotel rooms and my grandparents homes and just about everywhere i sleep lol) but u gotta talk to a psychologist to be sure. some mild anxiety pills cud help u out or therapy works also. but i wud def say u shud talk about ur issues to someone because believe it or not, it will make you feel better. getting a second opinion really helps especially when your not sure about whats going on, but u gotta talk to someone u trust cuz if u dont trust em, u might not believe em you kno??
I think you've answered your own question. "I'm paranoid that..." - etc. When you think there is a camera, is it just an idle wondering or fear that there might be, or are you convinced that there is? If you are convinced about all of these things, rather than just wondering or doubting, it sounds like paranoia. "I think people are trying to harm me" is the biggest sign of all in favour of paranoia. I'd look into counselling.
no. though you list all the symptoms of a fertile imagination and the sustained reasoning of true intelligence.all your symptoms are normal as we grow up and learn to negotiate with the world.stop beating yourself up! relax, meditate, empty your mind of this fear. be strong and happy. everything is going to work out. other people have their own obsessions to dwell upon.
O_o..... YEs, you do, OMG, Go to the psychologist, thats really bad, im not joking AT ALL
i think so see a therapist
