Converse problem (shoe)?

So I bought a brand new pair of converse high tops and I also bought the water proof spray to make sure it doesn't get horribly wet. When I sprayed them the toe part and the bottom parts are white and now are stained with yellow thing, I think its glue. Anyway I've tried scrubbing, bleaching and the stain is still there. What can I do to get rid of it?

    if they're brand new just try returning them and telling them that the spray did it
