Audio Technica ATH-T500 or Sennheiser HD 449?

want the sound to be a little warm

  • A lot depends on what type of music you listen to. The Sennheiser is going to have a warmer more laid back sound than the Audio Technica the T500 will be more forward especially in the treble area...The Sennheiser will sound best with acoustic music soft rock and acoustic guitar; as it will have a more organic laid back sound... if will start to break down and start to show its weakness with heavy metal or electronic music...the Audio Technica will sound better with fast music although it is somewhat lacking in bass to be the best choice for people who like heavy metal or even electronic...Detail is the forte of the T500 The build quality of the Audio Technica is also probably better than the sennheiser

  • Audio-technica Ath-t500

  • In my humble opinion I've been disappointed by Sennheiser products every time...

They put so much hype in describing their product on the outer packaging... but the product itself is usually, well, a clone of any other model (IMMHO).

I would go with Audio Technica.

  • The Audio Technica ATH-M50 headphones are designed specifically for noise-canceling purposes. They feature passive noise isolation, meaning that they cancel noise because of their design, which fits tightly around your ears. They have a fairly standard frequency response, with slight boosts in the low- and mid-frequency ranges to increase clarity of voice and bass response. One reviewer said that these headphones are very comfortable both in earbud padding and headband You can have these headphones compared with what you found.

  • i would go with the audio technica.

sennheisers are okay, but hearing from my audiophile friends, they aren't exactly that good
