????Baby Names..Unique or Modern????

I am TTC and I have a boy name and a girl name picked out...The middle names are set in both ones because they are family names...But we want to give our baby something that he or she can call their own...I liek modern names but with unique spellings and I also like Unique names...So I am asking for your help...Names you have already used or were thinking about using..I also want his or her name to mean something good..Thanks for the help in Advance...

    Though I am a strong believer that a child should have there own idenity and should be unique in there own way. But if you take a name and try to make it all different and "unique", all your setting you child up is for a life of "no it's a y not an i" and confusion.

    I named my daughter Aaliyah. It's unique with two a's. It means powerful. Makayla is also a beautiful name, can be spelled in various ways. For a boy the ones I had in mind were Kaleb and Maddox.

    Err, you can't have it both ways. If somebody's already used a name, then it isn't unique.
