do you fear death?

honestly i think wats gonna happen is gonna happen all i can do is live life to the fullest here on earth and after this life only allah knows wat will happen

so wat do u guy say?

Update:

faith- to that part i agree with you the pain that you leave for your family is the hardest part of death

if someone in my family dies or a loved one i feel they have gone to a better place inshallah

but when i die i dont want people to cry and moan that is probably the only reason i might fear death

i think id be lucky if i was the last in my family to die

so i dont give em pain

  • Yes. You should live to the fullest and always remember that whatever you do you will have to answer for that....

Living to the fullest doesnt mean forgetting and foregoing Islam. You can live to your content and yet practice Islam.

Death is a fearful thing. It is a reminder that the time of Examination is come. You will not be given any extra preparatory holidays.

  • Live our life to the fullest but to he fullest meaning maintain within the laws of Allah (swt) and commanding good :)

AS we only live once on this earth right, so live that way for Allah (swt) so Insha'Allah you will have a better afterlife.

I guess I need to reflect on death more, of course I have fear of being punished for my misdeeds etc, but at the same time I have hope as Allah (swt) is ever so Merci full if we repent and are sincere and if we steer from the misdeeds we have done.

  • I fear the punishments Allah has for us for not obeying her.

We commit sins. so when we are alive on this earth, we shall keep repenting and ask Allah for the forgiveness. This world is like an examination hall where we all give our exams, then till the day of judgment we wait for the result, Day of Judgment is the declaration of the result.

Whoever did best in their exams will get a good result and who didn't work hard, will go through the pains first ~!

  • Well every thing have fear to death , and every body know that have to die one day but still fear of it?

Everyone shall taste death. And only on the Day of Resurrection shall you be paid your wages in full. And whoever is removed away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise, he indeed is successful. The life of this world is only the enjoyment of deception (a deceiving thing)”

    [Aal ‘Imraan 3:185]

  • Not that much. I guess it's the same feeling as a baby entering the world for the first time. Dieing and going to another place is like being born and coming into another place from somewhere before.

  • Honestly, I used to fear death but as I got older I'm not afraid anymore. Everyone has to go at some point, I'm looking forward to whats around the bend.

  • I dont fear death.. to be honest im just hoping it dosent hapen anytime soon =)

But it Happens to everyone, and if you spend your life Worrying about it, then think of all the time you would have wasted, when you could have been enjoying it whilst it lasted?

    Good luck bud

  • I fear a painful death, but death itself only means I will go to heaven. It is very painful though to think about all my loved ones who will grieve my death. I don't even like to think about it because I couldn't stand to leave my son without his mother. I am the person he is closest to and my death would devestate him. My husband would be lost without me and would suffer so much. My mother would grieve so much because she has already lost one child and that was 5 years ago and she still grieves for him.

  • No i get scared ..i don't feel i do enough at all!!

what if i'm doing something simple but is big in gods eyes (like a sin)

i live life but try to remember the after life also

  • You will probably not like my answer but here its:

The fear of death is the most unjustified of all fears, since there is no risk for someone who is dead!
