Does excercise delay periods?

I'm 15, and I have been having cramps since 4 days ago. I've been getting discharge like whitish clear and sometimes stretchy discharge that looks like egg white. My breast are sore and I'm extremely tired. I started excercising a month ago, and my period is expected to come today, but I'm not completely sure if it'll actually come. My mom is accusing me of being pregnant, but it's not that cause I haven't had sex yet. Please help?

  • the most common causes of delayed periods are 1- Pregnancy 2 - excessive weight loss 3- exercise

if its not the first . all you have to do is relax . and from the sound of it you are still ovulating

  • In my experience exercise has always helped my periods to come quicker and relieve abdominal cramps. It might be worth you relaxing for a day to see if that helps? Drinking lots of water also helps as it keeps you hydrated and try to eat healthily too as junk food is sometimes a delaying factor. If you leave it a week and you still have not started your period it might be worthwhile going to the doctors to see if they can help you.

  • Exercise does not delay them. These symptoms are normal for some women. Talk to a school nurse about your period and what your mother is accusing you of.

  • Any style of workout can put off your era. there is no nutrition which could. really in case your body would not conflict through the workout procedure on an favourite foundation and also you're merely initiating out a common, i might want to assume a put off in you cycle. after I went through straightforward practise for the military i ended getting my classes for 4 months because I labored out a lot. even though it began again. a lady's body is mushy and small stresses even if it really is emotional or actual can throw off your era.
