Century arms Vs colt?
Im going to get an ar-15 (dunno when) and I was dead set on colt, but I saw (on youtube) a guy using a century arms ar with a scope hitting within 2 feet of a balloon at 900 yards. (it was really windy,he said around 15-20mph) They are around the same price, what would be the more accurate one?I know of course its the shooter but if there was no wind no person for a variable. Also whats a good scope for shooting 500+ yards?
Also he was using cheap wolf ammo, which later stove piped in both of his ar-15s

Century Arms imports full auto rifles like the AK-47 and does a crappy job of rebuilding them so that they are legal for civilian ownership in the US. Depending upon what kind of target you are shooting at, for 500+ yards you will need at least a 10x scope. I am a fan of cheap scopes, but I have never seen one that worked above 9x, so you need a $250-$500 scope in at least 10x.
Ahh, ........ Century Arms doesn't make an AR-15 rifle. The 5.56 isn't made for 900 yard shots. You can force the bullet to go that far, but, not accurately.
Wolf ammo! That's an exercise in stupidity. Suggest you return to, 'the drawing board'.
