  • don't worry, just do what I do:

unplug the webcam then blow in the socket. sometimes a bit of dust messes with it and makes it go all weird.

    Hope i helped :)

  • 1. Navigate to the following folder:

    Windows XP/2000/Vista (32-bit): C:\Program Files\McAfee\SiteAdvisor

    Windows Vista (64-bit): C:\Program Files (x86)\McAfee\SiteAdvisor

    2. Right-click on the file sasets.ini and choose Open With, then select Notepad.

    3. Locate the section titled [msnmsgr.exe].

    4. Change Enabled=1 to Enabled=0.

    5. Click File and select Save.

    6. Close sasets.ini and restart your computer for changes to take effect.

The above steps will configure SiteAdvisor to stop monitoring windows live messenger.

  • I'm not entirely sure how to help about the camera issue but all I can say is that I once had McAfee and it messed up my MSN, so I had to uninstall it. After I had done so (well, my cousin), everything was working fine. That's about the only advice I can give you at the moment, hope it helps? :3

  • all and sundry who has a recommendations and is solid with desktops can hack into yet another individual's computer account and webcam. All you desire is a few particular application and the fundamentals of desktops to hack into yet another individual's equipment. a fifteen year old has no employer exhibiting off her physique or herself to human beings over the internet. you need to get raped or get killed in case you utilize a webcam on account which you haven't any longer have been given any thought who you're chatting with over the internet. There may well be a pedophile who poses as a 14 year old guy and you need to be solicited and finally end up in intense complication.

  • Check your webcam is enabled in the msn options.. .. have you tryed restarting?.. and you could always try reinstall again

  • Have you tried running the usual sound and video tests? make sure you enter the correct speaker and microphone in the boxes...check for updates

Had this problem myself recently, was doing all the right things, just kept trying repeatedly, and eventually it sorted itself out???

    best of luck
