Visual c# problem access denied to cd rom?
Hi I am taking a c# class and the book we are using comes with a cd that contains all the files we need to do the projects on the book, but whenever I try to open up a project from the cd rom visual studio always tells me that the solution or project that I want to open is located in a directory that this application does not have permission to work in. I press restart this application under diferente credentials and I when I try to run the form it always says access is denied. How do I make the files from the cd rom accessible? Any help is really apreciated thanks!

You need to copy the files off the CD onto your hard disk. In order to work with the solutions Visual Studio needs to create files, and it can't do that on a CD.
I don't know the reply from a programming standpoint. However from a user standpoint, i can suppose of two reasons why you would be getting an "entry denied" error. 1. The file is read-best or requires the person to have administrator rights to access it. I would think this will also be simply corrected via altering the attributes of the textual content file. 2. I am guessing this is customarily why you're getting the error. Access to deleting or editing a file is continually denied when the file is open or in use. Can you insert a line of code to close the first text file or at the least preserve it inactive when it's no longer genuinely being written to?
