How to contact a doctor to shadow for a day?

I'm a prospective medical student looking to shadow a doctor in a hospital. What way is best to contact someone to do this? Will doctors be willing to help?

    GOOD LUCK, most doctors barely tolerate med students on rounds. Unless you have a relative who is a doctor, I doubt you will find any doctor who will allow someone who thinks they want to become a doctor to "shadow" them. I would be in contact with my college advisor.

    Yeah they will. Phone your local hospital or go round the wards asking if any doctors will be willing to do this
