I'm a hs senior and signed to play college softball next fall, and the team requires a lot of carido work. I have asthma and was wondering if anyone has any kind of advice to improve my cardio endurance.
I have asthma and in football I felt like I was gonna die but the coaches gave me extra water breaks. As I got better so did my lungs. So just run alot like 1/2 a mile and progress 1/4 of a mile a week. You will feel so much better, also run stairs.
Hi.You could always consider taking a cardio kick boxing class at your local gym or college. There are some DVD's available too. Cardio kick boxing is awesome.It will improve your endurance. Also you may want to consider aerobic stepping. Which is you have a stepping and two risers or one. You just step up and down. You can do different moves on it
I heard that if you practice swimming when you have asthma that you could greatly increase the strength of your lungs. try researching it and then give swimming a try. once your lungs are strengthened your performance and stamina will improve.
