how do a delete a yahoo mail account?

I followed the all the steps on the Account Termination page. When I was done I received this Terminating your Yahoo! Account

Your Yahoo! ID:

Your Profiles: •

We've run into an error trying to terminate your account.

Please contact Customer Care and we'll be happy to help you.

    Ive been told that they don't delete anyone's account. You just stop using it and it fades into the shadows after a time.

    To delete your account first go in ur mail and click on ur account info which is on the left side( under ur yahoo name)

    then when u click that you will see the page to change password and all that on top on the left side you will see HELP

    Click help you will see a page with many options like how do i close my yahoo account is one of them read it carefully u will see it in top articles, how do i close my yahoo account is no.2 click that it will take you to another page there u can delete your account.. :)

    Go to http://edit.yahoo.com/config/delete_user
