94 cadillac deville tranny problem??!!?
i have a 94 cadillac deville who never gave me any problems till a few days ago, i stopped at a red light and my car wouldnt go, i started messing around with the shift moving it from drive to reverse and so on, and finally i guess it caughtt the gear again and i drove off. when i stopped at another red light the same thing happened but i couldnt get it to drive again, i called a friend to pull me home with his truck, while we were heading back we reached a speed level 15mph and my car suddenly started to drive normally. anyone know what the problem is?
my car starts and everything its simply not catching the gears and just sits. let me know...

Sounds like the torque converter or pump went out. Either way it is time to repair the trans.
sounds like the fluid and filter needs changing. it also could be that the linkage needs to be adjusted.
It does not have to be very low on transmission fluid to fail to fo.
sounds like your tranny is on it way out sorry
