Does President Bush have a speech problem?

One time I heard him reffering to hostages as hostiles interchangably. In one sentence he would call them hostages and another sentence he would call them hostiles.

  • If he does, it's the same as mine.

I like to think of myself as intelligent, but sometimes it seems like there is a short between my brain and my mouth. I just have a hard time getting the right words out.

Notice, it is just a problem in verbalizing, not in thinking. But it's still got to be a rotten problem for a politician to have.

  • Sources close to the White House say Bush is drinking again.

  • No he does not have a speech problem. He does that on purpose.

  • He's got to be the most inarticulate president in history!

  • No. He's just from Texas and has a drawl. No offense intended. I have a southern drawl as well. I understand him perfectly.

  • In a way yes...just about every time he opens his mouth he puts his foot in it.

  • He's an alcoholic. He has a speech, brain, policy, intellect and world in general problem.
