Special Needs Excersaucer...?

We currently have a regular exersaucer/activity center for Harrison. He is getting bigger though, he's 26 lbs so he's pretty much out grown it. When I do put him in it he has a blast but I don't think the seat can hold him for much longer. Is there an activity center/exersaucer made for a bigger child/someone with special needs? He is 2 but not sitting, standing, crawling or walking ( his 15th chromosome is extended more than normal, and he is in occupational/phyiscal therapy/early intervention). Any ideas? I'm trying to find him something for Christmas but most things I see have a weight limit of 25 lbs. I need something I can set him in and he can play while I clean/cook/ fold laundry. Thanks for the help!

  • You might have to get something and then modify it for your needs. such as a space saver booster chair w/a 5 point harness that you can strap to a chair that sits low (children's chair) and then sit it near an activity table like this one:

  • Your child's therapists have access to many special needs catalogues. I am sure that what you need can be ordered from one of them. Speak to your child's therapists.
