  • Always..make a point of taking everything back just before the warranty runs out...just got brand new toaster and kettle..they never check that its not broke...they just take your word for it....I made the furniture store take back my leather sofa after 5 months coz i re- decorated lounge and it didnt go..said it was out of shape . . just got my new and improved one...why should we accept old and inferior ??!! It`s a buyers market hun . . .

    Even if you're buying something large like a TV set, you can have the store's employees take the thing out of its box so you can inspect it before buying it.
