paranormal stories ?!?

any paranormal stories you'd like to share. i love hearing them.

and who else agrees how annoying it is that skeptics always comment on the paranormal stuff,

if you don't believe why do you go on the paranormal phenomena category and comment.

Update:

eri,

i understand you post like about science,

but when someone just says the paranormal doesnt exsist without giving any explaination for their reasoning is what bugs me

  • The best place for paranormal stories?

    www.hellhoundslair.com

^ the clown stories scare me.

  • I'm keen on Zombies and finish of the sector Horror. Preferably a Science Fiction as a substitute then Supernatural procedure. Although performed correct with out immoderate moralizing, both one is well. Sometimes a combination, like King's "The Stand" can paintings as good. Get your self a Family in situation, overshadowed by way of a Zombie outbreak and I'll learn it. Throw in a few ignorant bullies and a psychopathic villain or 2. Maybe a good that means fool and suicidal flesh presser might combine within the tale. Think up a well plot with tons of movement and inform me wherein to learn it. Whatever you do do not Al Gorize it. Keep it apolitical, and up to viable plausible.

  • Well, my house was built on a old chicken farm, and before I was born my mom said she could hear a faint chicken noise down the hall.

I also think there's a female ghost who stays near me. (I'm a female also, mind you lol) One time I was on my bed taking a nap and I could literally feel her whisper in my ear. I forgot what she said but I remember my body jolting and shaking with fear. She did it again a couple days ago in fact.

And then I had a dream I was in a car passing by a asylum, and I made eye contact with a ghost - I woke up with my body shaking like crazy and I was fully awake.

I agree how people are like "paranormal doesn't exists" because to be honest, no one knows for sure. But I fully believe in it.

    What's your story? =)

  • I have many experiences to tell. To make one of them short as I can..............

My adult daughter & family moved in to a place and immediately the haunting began. It was their two and a half year old son who first experienced it. Initially my grandsons anxiety was blammoed on the move to a new place. There was, as he said a girl that would wake him up and scare him. Instead of telling him he was wrong, my daughter & hubby just comforted him and he crawled in bed next to them. There were some strange happening , feeling watched, feeling not alone, a negative energy in the entire place. In the bathroom there seemed to be alot of things happening, for instance my son in law thought my daughter had brushed past him while he was standing at the sink, but no one was there. She came in and while he was explaining what had just happened they both saw a shadow pass by the bathroom. Immediately my son in law ran outside and no one was there. The backyard is big enough that if there was a person there, they would of been caught before leaving the back yard. Then there was a disembodied cry that a variety of people heard. Things increased when my daughter woke up one night with her son at her bedroom door and next to him was a little girl. It disappeared. Another night my son in law saw a child in the hall right by the bathroom door. Eventually my grandson began to play with the little girl. We had a group investigate the place & they deemed it haunted. There was a little mud footprint that was found once. I suggested that my daughter typed up everything that happened. She has six pages of notes. I had been encouraging my daughter to confront the ghost girl and demand her to leave. The first time it was gone for two months. But came back stronger than before. Neighbors on the short street started to experience things also. My grandson finally was the one to firmly tell the little girl spirit to leave. She left. Not long ago the family moved out of state. My daughter called and said that my grandson was experiencing things again. I recommended that she empower him with knowledge that he had some control over this. He needed to firmly send away anything that paranormally scared him

The most interesting thing about this story is that I did a historical background check & found out a little girl died on the property in 1913. With work I eventually got her name and her picture. We showed my grandson a picture with many kids in it and he pointed out the little girl. He also knew her name. I have visited the grave site & there is no gravestone for her or her parents.

  • Hi, so for a long long long time now (about two years) I've noticed some weird things that have been happening, and are still happening

NOTIFICATION: I'm not afraid of these activities, nor do I really "believe" in ghosts.

Anyways, I'll list in #'s starting from Oldest to Most Recent "out of the ordinary" activities.

    1. While getting ready for bed, my closet door was open, as it usually is, there were no lights on in my room but I noticed a weird array of tiny red and green lights inside the closet door. I stood there and stared thinking what electronic thing was in my closet that would be making those red and green little lights move around, so i turned on the light to my room and there was nothing in my closet except clothes and books. I went to sleep thinking i was just seeing things.

    2. I have a side yard, where we keep all the garbage cans, and I usually have to go into my backyard and walk through the sideyard in the dark to get to the trashcans at the end, slightly sketchy but managable. Anyways, one night I noticed some weird figure that seemed to be just standing at the very end of the side yard near the trash cans, I squinted against the darkness to see if it was someone but it was just too dark. so i walked a little closer to get a better look and it moved behind the trashcan. I figured maybe this was my little brother playing a joke so i walked the other way, turned on the sideyard lights and there was nothing there.

    3. On a nightly basis, i take my dog for a little walk down the street so she can do her "business". I walked past the house across the street from mine and my dog stopped and looked at the house, not moving, like she does when she see's rabbits or squirrels. I looked in the directions he was staring and was starting to heard weird sqeaking and grinding and shuffling noises near the house's garage. i walked to the other side of the house and saw nothing, then i heard a loud BUMP sound, like someone dropped something heavy off of the roof.

    4. There were a few more minor "shadowy figure" appearences, but not one that were worth mentioning. The last major thing i can remember is when i was in my bathroom, brushing my teeth and my bedroom lights went out, I thought maybe my mother was trying to hint to me to get my *** to sleep or something, so i walked out of the bathroom, turned the lights back on but i could hear my mother talking upstairs( i have a downstairs bedroom), there was no way she could have gotten up there that fast. maybe it was one of my siblings, i thought. So I finished brushing my teeth and went to bed. At 4:00 in the morning, it was still very dark. and my bedroom lights turned ON. i laid there for a minute and got up to turn them off, no one was there. It was very odd. i went upstairs to see if my siblings were playing a joke on me, but both were sound asleep in their beds, upstairs.

In conclusion, I remembered the house across the street. I also remembered that there was a family who used to live there. A young husband and wife, with their two little daughters. about 3 years ago, a few days before christmas, the young man who lived there was stringing up red and green christmas lights, until he fell off the ladder, breaking his back and neck. He died, and a few months later his remanining family moved away to a different home, no one knows why.

Coincidental? I think this is rather interesting.

  • All people do on here is post paranormal stories. Why post a question asking for more of them? Just look around. This is the science section - Yahoo Answers says they put the paranormal here so that people could get scientific answers to their questions, whether they want them or not (most users of this site never even register, they just read answers, so answers are not solely meant for the person asking the question). And many of us skeptics are scientists, which is why we're hanging out in the science section. If you don't accept science, why post in the science section? Just head over to religion or mythology or entertainment instead and post the same thing.
