I have a test next week on random elements in the periodic table. I have to know the element, atomic number, atomic mass and each symbol for 50 elements.
a million. take transition metals... they sort different colored compounds, and yet, all of then can habit electricity and might habit warmth. 2. no concept 3. he made the X-ray spectrometer and Moseley's discovery confirmed that atomic numbers weren't arbitrary yet have a actual foundation. 4. helium has the form of the noble gas, so the middle of hydrogen and helium is sparkling. 5. the proton type
that really depends on each person's learning style. There are three kinds - learn by doing, hearing, or seeing. I learn by hearing, so I would just repeat the information aloud to myself. A lot of my friends are big fans of notecards - you could give each element a notecard. This satisfies the visual learner as well as the person who learns by doing because you have to write out each card.

I used flashcards, and memorized them in order using a song, the elements set to music... it works like in this video (http://scienceblips.dailyradar.com/video/periodic-... seriously. best thing ever.

Flashcards would be a good way to study for this type of test. Have someone quiz you.
i'm a molec bio major so i've been there, basically flat out gotta memorize.
