Colorado Springs or California?
Pros and cons of each?
For some reason, people tell me Colorado is almost like California, and it's giving me ideas about moving there. Since, I've been in love with Orange county, but never had the finances to reside there for more than two years.
Please tell me all you can about each perspective. And lastly, how's the economy/unemployment in CO? Thanks!

Colorado Springs is gorgeous and a great place to live, but I have never heard anyone say it is almost like California. I think it is far better. Cost of living is lower and unemployment rate is lower. But if your goal is to live in a place like Orange County, you are going to need plenty of money...from what i understand, that is a very expensive, upscale area.
I grew up in California and lived in Colorado for 10 years... nope Colorado is nothing like California- especially not like Orange County. Boulder Colorado reminds me of Santa Cruz without the ocean, it just has the same feel and types of people. Colorado Springs is much cheaper than anywhere in California and its at the edge of the Rocky Mountains, really nice. The economy in Colorado is much better than CA, not saying its great but far better than CA. The areas with the most jobs are CO Springs, Denver and Boulder.
I just moved to San Diego with my wife. I would say don't move here unless you have a job lined up already. The weather is nice, but alot of other things can be a pain. Its crazy expensive to live here and hard to find a job. I ready a study before moving out here that said the average Family income in San Diego is a little under 60k and the average house price is over 300k. This means that the average family can't come close to affording the average house...
Don't know anything about Colorado Springs though, sorry.
i like the way you get mad that one and all SoCal all of us is judgmental and believe stereotypes yet you're doing an identical factor outstanding decrease back. i became into born and raised in Southern California and that i'm relationship a guy from Tennessee so sorry, nope no longer all of us from SoCal is caught up. you are the only that appears like a judgmental prick in case you question me.
