Slimline desktop graphics card upgrade?
Hey guys. I have a slimline pc and I was wondering how to find out what kind of graphics card it could support. I took off the side panel and I found the 2 extra video card slots, but the problem is that I don't know how to find the exact (pci?) size of the slot. Also the computer I have is a SX2370-US10P Gateway. If you guys could recommend me a good card or tell me how to find the size of my video card slot. That would be great!

The best slimline cards which are confirmed to run on a 220W power supply are:
Radeon HD 6450

GeForce GT 520

Both cards draw less than 31 watts maximum when running in full 3D mode.
You can also support the Radeon HD 5450 and GeForce 210 which draw even less power (below 20 watts), but the performance on those is much worse. In any case, many slimlines have been upgraded with HD 6450 and GT 520 cards without issues.
You only have a 220W power supply. The GTX640 needs at least a 350W power supply, so that will not run in your system.
Because of the real low end power supply, you are seriously limited to low end video cards. Even some of those specify a 250W power supply, though your 220W may just be enough.
A GeForce210 will probably run:

If your power supply is a good quality one ( we just don't know for sure), maybe a 4350 would run, but that is pushing the limits - it may overload the power supply.
Basically those slim line cases with small power supplies are not easily upgradable for any video....
well there's no "size" of a video card slot. It's PCIe..that's it...and you can't install a card anyways! You have a 220w PSU. BARE minimum for a PC just to run.
You need a low-profile GPU for the PCIe slot with a single-wide bracket. The 2 best available are:
