Does stress take a part in strange dreams/ restless sleep?
I've been having family problems recently- more specifically- with my brother. And I've been so worried about him lately.
I have nothing but bad dreams or freaky dreams every single night. I also wake up after 8 or 9 hours of sleep and still feel really tired. Don't know why.
Possibly an interpretation?

Wow.I didn't know stress disturbs sleep.
I've been under enormous stress since the last 6 months, when I was trying to get admission in a college I loved.I got in there ,but now I'm so depressed all the time...during those 6 months i had one experience at 3 in the night where I wanted to cut myself.I don't know what happened,I'm totally NOT into that...i hate all forms of such self-attack,so lets be clear on that...See,the thing is,All the time my mind kept thinking of blades and wrists,I felt horrified about it:Didn't want to do it,Had no intention of doing it,Had never ever given it a second thought before, but all the same, that thought was going around my brain...I tried to avoid it and sleep.I couldn't.So,I woke up my mom,and told her.She really handled it nicely, and after that nothing psycho-ish has happened.
Wow,I'm sorry for going on about my own troubles in someone else's question.People, don't read it if you don't want to.I guess I just wanted to write down my feelings and thoughts.Sorry for using ur space.
But now, whenever I see blood,or cuts[accidental] or blades,I get the old feeling back.I had just turned 18 when I had that happen with me...I'm freaking out.I'm normal, never thought of such stuff EVER,though yeah I have been sad during my younger years. But i coped with that.I hope I won't need any HELP.
Good luck with your sleep.I wish the same to me.Haven't slept well in months.
Yes definetly i know when i have worried about something same has happened to me.
Yes it does.To get better sleep, it is good if you meditate and pray first.Good luck
