Do you consider Americans polite?

What do you think?

Update:

@AMERICA: Did those people who helped you expect money? Maybe they did because they wanted to get a tip. It's a regularity in developing countries.

  • There are a vast number of Americans who are rigourously polite and very insistent on good manners. They probably have many opportunities to warn them to be so when they see their fellow countrymen who are neither of these things.

It is a universal: every society and culture has its mixture of polite and rude. The important thing, if you are a stranger to another society, is not to judge them until you have some knowledge of what is locally acceptable

  • In general, I have found Americans to be polite. I actually find others in America to be the rude ones.

  • Hell no their rude.... I'm mixed raced half white half mex

So I know we're not polite at all. We're *******

  • i'm assuming you're speaking on the subject of the country. nicely we communicate loudly because of the fact we flow our lips, so a techniques as polite, some are some are not. Excuse me i don't spit as quickly as I communicate, and that i'm uncertain what a impolite flabby gits is, yet it does not sound very effective. What survey did you examine.

  • No

    but they can't help that

they are taught to be outgoing

This is usually considered rude in other countries.
