How do I get over a crush on a professor?
I have a really, really bad crush on one of my professors in college. I know that nothing can ever happen between us, and I accept that, but I still can't stop thinking about him. He's in his late 20s, but he's very intelligent and eloquent. He's also a good looking guy and a very kind person. So, basically, my "ideal" man. I get depressed whenever his class ends and I know it's a silly crush, but is there any way to make it hurt less?

Go out and meet new people who you actually could envision a future with. Many times when the romantic front gets a little bleak, we idealize relationships we know will never happen.
Grit your teeth and bear it until the class is over. Then make sure you never take another class where he is the professor again.
Ask him to give you a D and then you will like him a lot less.
Sorry I have no real answer!
hell, if you're 18+, ask him out.
theres really no reason not to, if yall can both be adults about it.
