Bachelors degree credits transfer to Associates degree?
I have a BA. I have extra time, so I want to get an Associates degree. Can I transfer any of my already earned credits towards the associates? Mainly general credits.

It's your profile. Yes.
I would suggest that you talk to the school that you are trying to transfer credits into. Typically associate degrees require more courses that are focused on a particular area. If you work working on your bachelor's degree, you may have been taking a lot of broad courses that may not directly apply to the associate degree major you are pursuing. Best advice is to talk to the school or schools you were thinking about transferring into. If you aren't quite sure where you want to finish your associate's degree, I recommend you look into Grantham University. The university offers several online associate degrees. Hope that helps and best of luck!
Interesting question, the answer to which may change according to the school you want to attend. It also depends on whether you want a liberal arts associates or a technical degree.
Many courses at a community college are designed to transfer to four-year institutions, making a "reverse transfer" possible.
Although that should answer the question, here a point you may want to consider. Although you may only need fifteen or eighteen credits of coursework according the the major requirements, you may need to take thirty credits of coursework to fulfill the school's residency requirement.
You may be able to transfer most, but they probably will limit you to only several core courses
