Squeaking noise coming from my brakes?
I have a 2003 dodge ram 1500. When I come to a complete stop and then take off I hear a slight squeaking noise coming from what sounds like my breaks. I'm not sure if they aren't disengaging all the way or what? It only last for a couple of seconds and then it goes away. But I would like to fix it now before it gets worse. Thanks for your help!

if the guide pins on the calipers are worn enough that will cause that to happen to it also,it makes the calipers run sideways and causes the rotors to wear off at an angle causing that too happen to it, you need to check it though to be sure that the brakes aren't worn out on it,good luck with it.
Sometimes the breaks wear uneven or its break dust or a combination that could cause this. When the pads or shoes get to thin there is a metal tab that will cause a grinding sound when breaks are used but thats metal on metal. Try using some brake cleaner spraying onto the rotor and pads but avoid the rims it could dull or discolor them.
you might try to adjust your brakes or just replace them my brakes did the same thing i just had to adjust them i hope that helps with your problem
