Do muslims celebrate Christmas?

Do they? Christmas does celebrate the birth of Jezus, who is a prophet in the koran, so I was wondering.

  • Some Muslims may celebrate Christmas as a secular holiday in Western countries, but as a religious holiday, no.

  • Many Christians do not even celebrate because most of the trappings are clearly of Pagan origin. So a Muslim would only "celebrate Christmas" in the most superficial way to fit in.

  • Muslims do not believe that Jesus is the son of God. They believe he is a prophet along with Mohammad. So no, they have no reason to celebrate Christmas unless they are not devout Muslims and enjoy being diversified.

  • It's obviously NOT a Muslim holiday. That said, lots of non-Christians participate in one way or another in the general Christmas festivities.

Yes, they consider him a prophet, NOT god or the son of god.

  • Muhammad and Jesus are both prophets.

    Peace be upon them.

  • No they celebrate " I hate all Americans" day

  • No. We are not suppose to but some misguided Muslims do it.

  • In the UK many, treat it as a Holy Day.
