Trade, pending league approval...
I'm just wondering here, but a trade must be approved by Bud Selig in the commissioners office. Has there ever been a trade rejected by the commissioner? You know besides Alex Rodriguez from Texas to Boston. It seems to me that every trade goes through, so why was this one rejected? I'm not a Red Sox fan, but I'm wondering how much Georgie boy paid Selig to deny the trade to the Red Sox and approve the trade to the Yankees.

I'm sure Georgie gave Selig a TV network or two just to make sure we wouldn't get A-Rod. Well, we clearly didn't need him anyway. Will A-Rod EVER win a championship? I'm sure the rejection had a ton to do with money, but honestly, I wouldn't want a classless guy like A-Rod on my team anyways.

i believe it was rejected because of money disputes. Two big contracts.
I've never heard of any trades, period, being blocked by the commish.
