my dad got into a car accident!?
yes!
he was picking me up from a jonas brothers concert
and he was parking cuz he got there a little b4 the concert ended
so he was parking so he wouldnt be double parked
and the back of the car was out (he was still parking) and on saturday night you must know what happens..people get drunk and such..so while the back of the car was out sum drunko came down SPEEDING seriously he was going so fast..and he smashed right into the back of my dads car
i even heard the bang from being in front row and all the screeming girls and me screeming and the loud music
the jonas brothers were even like freaked out!the body guard (big rob) went outside to see what it was nd it was kind of cool haha big rob and my dad were talking!
but anyway..whos fault would it be?

Not necessarily the drunk guy's fault, although it's possible it will come out that way. It's going to depend on where the damage is.
Entering and exiting a parking spot is normally a "standard of fault". Of course, driving drunk is also a "standard of fault" in many states. So the adjusters will look at the damages, take statements, and then assign fault.
Its actually a toss up. If your dad was illegally parked, the drivers insurance company (if he has one) may try to fight it and say that your pops wasn't properly parked. There are also other factors. Were there any tickets given out? Normally if a cop gives a ticket to someone in an accident, it means its their fault (most of the time). If there were no tickets given, and the guy wasn't arrested for DUI, it could go either way. Although everyone knows if someone hits a still object, its their fault!
it might have been ur dads fault for not pay attention but he couldnt have done anything if the drunk person was going so fast. yeah it was the drunk persons fault because first he/she was driving a vehcial while intoxicated then they went over the speed limit and went so fast that as soon as your dad looked he was hit! so basically your right, it was the drivers fault
Yes you aren't supposed to smash into objects that are standing still---so it's the drunk's fault.
His fault. He was driving illegally so should not of been on the road. If he had obeyed the law the accident would not have happened.
