What you need is some collar dickies. They are just the top part of a mock turtleneck or a button front shirt that is worn under a dress or lower cut dress to make it more modest and have it look like you're wearing a collared top without the bulk of an extra layer of clothing.
The link has examples for sale but you could get inexpensive tops from a thrift store and cut out the top part to do the same thing, if you know how to sew a hem around the edges of the cut off part. Good luck!! : }
