im a skinny girl who eats alot?

im a normal skinny size and i weigh the average for my age, so i am definetly not obease at all. perfect skinny actually. but i eat alot of food, like when i come home from school i have 2 icy poles, packet of chips and maybe a small chocolate bar, and i never put on weight from it or grow any wider. but im worried these eating habits will continue through my life until i stop growing. i know im really not that bad and it doesnt cross my mind too much but id just wanna know if any1 has ideas to cut down..and if any1 thinks i DO eat a little too much. in the morning i have 2 pieces of toast for breakfast, then at lunch a sandwich and maybe a packet of chips, but then when i get home i eat alot and then i have a normal meal for dinner.

do you think i should cut down, or am i making a little more of a deal than what it really is? any ideas?

  • your totally normal hun every kid after school pigs out but your still young and as you grow the habit will slowly fade but other then that you are a completely healthy person maybe try adding more fruit and veg but no need to stress if you don't

  • You should eat healthier if any thing. Don't worry, your metabolism is very high right now. But if you eat healthier it will definitely keep your vitamins up and keep your nutrition where it should be. eating a lot of junk food will not be good for your future. Just cut back a little but slowly. Don't try to cut back all at once. Be careful or your sugar intake though. You're obviously growing so maybe consider cutting back later when you're a few years older. I hope this helps.

  • how old exactly are you? if your still in your teens you should be okay, just keep yourself active, if you wanna make some new habits, eat smaller portions of snacks your already eating, instead of a whole bag of chips, eat half, and eat the other half tomorrow. Also as you get older your metabolism slows down so getting good eating habits early helps, i had to learn the hard way now I'm a little overweight from how i used to be

  • Youre eating just fine! If your ever really worried, just swap say a packet of chips for some fruit and ect. eating more of the healthy stuff is a good habit:)

    Check the number of Calories you are having. If you are having 1800 Calories and playing a lot then you will not put on weight

  • i think you eat fine concerning meals,

    if you feel that you should cut down, you should trade your snacks (chips, icy poles, chocolate) for healthy snacks. maybe some delicious strawberries or something :D

    and also, i agree that as long as you get some moderate exercise, you will be completely fine.

  • You probably just have a high metabolism, I wouldn't be too concerned as long as you are physically active (includes walking) for about 30 minutes a day.

  • I totally envy you.

    Maybe cut down a tiny bit, just for your health, or eat something healthier, or spread your snacks out, instead of all at once.
