How to transfer email ID from "@yahoo.com.my" to "@yahoo.com"?
Dear Yahoo! Answers team,
I have previously used to received email that was sent to ***@yahoo.com but now I can only receive the mail if it is being sent to ***@yahoo.com.my.
Fyi, the email will bounce back (undelievered) if my friend sent it to "@yahoo.com".
I am also having problem to retrieve my forgotten password in MySpace, which I have registered using ***@yahoo.com.
As I am considering to delete the account and re-register under "@yahoo.com" after the ID being deleted in Yahoo Registration Database within a few months, I have came across Yahoo! Answers and I have learn that you guys might be able to help guiding me in transfering my email ID from "@yahoo.com.my" to "@yahoo.com".
I thank you in advanced and am really appreciate your prompt advise on this problem.

As I know, you can not transfer, but you can get a new yahoo e-mail address with @yahoo.com extension.
You have an account with "@yahoo.com.my" extension because you have got it over Yahoo! Malaysia site

If you go to Yahoo! UK site:
https://edit.europe.yahoo.com/config/mail?.intl=uk...
You will get an account with "@yahoo.co.uk" extension.
If you go to Yahoo! US site:
https://login.yahoo.com/config/mail?.intl=us
You will get an account with "@yahoo.com" extension

Go to your Yahoo! Mail page (the new one)
click 'Addresses'
click 'Addresses Options'
click 'Transfer Contacts to Yahoo!'
Enter your password
click 'Sign in'
Press 'I Agree'
Now enter your old and new Yahoo! Address and click 'Start Transfer' at the bottom-right of that page.
You can ALSO transfer the contents of old account as mails and messages by forwarding, go to your mail place select your folder as inbox,sent,bulk..etc, click "Check All' blue text link below the lists and click 'Forward' button ,type your new address in 'To' space and click 'Send'.
Your personal profile will be created during sign-up to new account (you can edit it later) but the earlier profile is not transferable to that new one.
Your Yahoo! Answers account info as scores,levels,posted questions and answers are not transferable
Your blog,group membership,contact buddies,friend lists of messenger and 360 account are not transferable either.
