Retrieve deleted photos from my camera?
I was being an idiot, and deleted a bunch of pictures I had on my camera thinking that I uploaded them. WHICH I DIDN'T. I DID connect it to my computer once, and browsed though them on the memory card, but I don't think I saved all of them. Is there any way to get my deleted pictures back?
Gahhhh... Thankyou. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE

You can very often recover deleted pictures from a camera memory card or USB Memory stick. However, to increase the chances of being able to recover pictures after they have been deleted you must not save any new photos, files or data to it.
When you delete pictures (or any files) from a memory card or USB memory device the data itself isn't deleted, just the file system pointers that says where the data for those files is located. The area where the deleted picture data was stored is also now marked as free space so it is available to the system for any new files to be written there instead.
If and when that happens, then it is too late to recover your deleted pictures so it is very, very important that new pictures or files aren't saved to the memory card in the meantime.
One of the easiest ways to see if your deleted pictures can be recovered is to try some photo recovery software. Recommended one is asoftech photo recovery (simply because i was using it and it worked)
I'm sure you may have heard that when you delete a file from a computer, it is never "truly deleted." That statement, however, is only partly true. The files do not get deleted after, only the space that they occupy on the disk get prepared to be written over. When you reformatted the memory card in your camera, it did exactly that, and only prepared your pictures to be written over.
SO, the first thing you have to do after format is to not save any more pictures onto that memory card or you risk writing over the photo video files that you are trying to recover!
Got that far? Now you need to choose the appropriate camera recovery software. There are a tons of different programs but some are better than others. I actually recommend a program called 001 File Recovery because they have an option that is designed for recovering media files from FORMATTED memory cards, not only deleted or corrupted photo video files. You can download this software here:

Lastly, if the program does not recognize your SD Card as a drive when you are plugging the camera directly into the computer, you may need to directly plug your card into a card reader. Make sure that the card reader has the capabilities to handle your memory card though. Many older card readers can only handle cards up to 2GB, so if your card is bigger than that, you need a newer card reader.
Try the free program Recuva - http://www.recuva.com/
I used it when I had the same problem and it really did recover deleted photos from my camera's memory card.
Two tips:
- If you use it and it doesn't recover the photos you want, run it again only this time choose "deep scan" (it's slower though)
- If you took more photos after you deleted photos, the deleted photos may be 100% unrecoverable (because they've been replaced by new photos).
