  • The cause of eczema is overreaction of the immune system. Identifying certain foods, chemicals, etc can be very helpful in battling this disease. I try to avoid soy and milk products which trigger my flare-ups.

After using number of prescription drugs I've turned to the natural treatments.

Now I use serenaskin herbal remedies.

After about 2 weeks of using ointment and spray my skin has been cleared up, and I continue with eczema extract, which controls the immune system. My skin has been clear for months.

It is the only treatment I have found that provides me complete relief when I use it as directed

  • I have been using a prescription cream called "ELOCOM" on and off for years now. It completely stops my rashes when they occur. I get a lot less occurences now since I've been using it. For a cheaper alternate and quick relief from itching, you can get some hydrocortizone which is found in every pharmacy. Oatmeal baths don't work, so don't do that. It's a wives tale. Eczema is becoming a bigger problem these days because many products have irritating dyes and fragrances. So, buy non-scented items whenever possible. Use glycerin soap to bathe. My best advice is go see an allergy doctor to isolate why you may be getting eczema. Ask about prescription creams, they are the best. The itching, redness and scaly look to the skin completely goes away.

  • My little boy had eczema on his cheeks. I was not sure what method to use but I didn't want to make my boy go through any surgery treatments at this young age. Some suggested a plastic surgeon since it was in a very visible location but our family doctor recommend this natural guide.

  • I'm 15 too and I had the exact same thing!

So what I do is when I go to bed at night I take Aveeno, you could use other lotions I just use this, and I lather it on but I don't rub it in. Then I take shrink wrap and wrap my legs, arms, neck, wherever, then I put long socks on to keep them on while I sleep. When I wake up I take off the shrink wrap and I rub it in. I know it sounds weird but it seriously is amazing. They also have this thing that's aveeno for your bath and you put it in then you soak in the bath and it helps.

Also pool water is brilliant for eczema. When it gets really bad for me I just go to the pool for a while then after I moisturize really well and it's honestly gone the next day.

If none of that works there's this vitamin E cream and it's really good. It's a bit expensive but it is so moisturizing.

    Good luck darling!

  • Hi, you can try one of the natural treatments available on the Internet – some of them do work. For my eczema I use herbal cream by Champori quite successfully. It takes just a couple of weeks to clear the spots and then they stay clear for months on end.

Try it: Champori doesn’t need a prescription and comes with money back guarantee so if it doesn't work for you - it's free.

    Best,

    Sumi

  • this really helps my daughter... get a thick cream like eucerin, and spread it on thick everynight... almost like you are painting yourself with it, rub it in a little but it will still be visible on your skin... use nivea cream rubbed in during the day.

us a soap thats for extremely sensitive skin, and ask your mom to only wash your clothes in hypoallergenic soaps!

  • jean smith is right pool water helps and the aveeno brand is the best
