Is Oklahoma exempt from Obama care?
I heard on the news today that Oklahoma is exempt from Obamacare because the Oklahoma constitution will not allow someone to be forced to buy insurance. I looked at the constitution and could not find it or the part where sharia law is forbidden. Help Please only serious answers please.

@skaterboy4ever14 I had to log in to my other account to reply to your answer. Federal law dose not trump all law just look at medical marijuana the government classifies it as a class one narcotic and is Illegal in every state but in some states it is allowed. They can loose federal funding but are not going to issue mass arrests. I wish you did a little bit of research before answering. Thanks for trying buddy.
Here I found something new. I think I found it guys.
Skaterboy is right. Federal law is held above state law, according to the U.S. Constitution. That means that even if the Oklahoma constitution says that the state can't force you to buy insurance, the Federal can force you to buy it.
Not sure what Sharia Law has to do with the question, but you won't find any mention of Sharia Law in the U.S. Constitution. However, the first amendment clearly states that "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof". Enacting Sharia law would clearly violate the first amendement.
Federal Law trumps State Law. So no, Oklahoma will not be exempt from Obamacare.
Okay.
Explain to us all exactly WHY you are too lazy and stupid to READ THE DAMN CONSTITIUTION.
Seriously.
I want to know.
WHY won't you just READ THE DAMN THING?
US CONSTITUTION,
ARTICLE VI, SECTION 2
This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding.
question, do you have car insurance? i am sure Oklahoma has a driver financial responsibility law of some kind, probably includes proof of insurance.
sharia law is another issue. if legislators propose and pass laws that just happen to conform with one or another religious view is not forbidden if it does not deny individual civil rights.
